On all Dv8 courses learners will be supported to gain qualifications which will help them progress into further education or work. We offer a variety of different qualifications on our courses, most of which can be obtained naturally as learners progress through the course and without a final test (with the exception of Literacy Levels 1 & 2).

ARTS AWARD (BRONZE OR SILVER)The Arts Award recognises a contribution to the arts through a series of activities. Learners are active participants in arts activities such as making music or performing; and will also get the chance to give their own feedback on different art forms. NOCN STEP-UP AWARD (pre-16) & PROGRESSION AWARD (post-16)A Step-UP or a Progression Award is achieved through successfully completing activities in a number of varied projects and building up a portfolio of work. LITERACY LEVEL 1 & 2A Literacy qualification can help people work more confidently and independently and is a great addition to a CV! Literacy Level 1 is the equivalent of a GCSE at grade D or below and Level 2 is the equivalent of a GCSE at Grade C.
