Dv8 is a community organisation based in Brighton and London that specialises in delivering innovative training projects for young people in creative and media, all taught by industry professionals and designed to provide a real working experience of being in a small creative company.

Our courses produce real outcomes, such as an under 18's club night, a record released into the shops or a youth magazine. The young people must take responsibility for the production of the project and make many of the key decisions whilst on the course. In effect they are given the chance to run their very own media company!

We recognise the strength of learning through doing something that is challenging, inspiring and fun. The young people on our courses can gain qualifications in key skills areas such as communication, IT, group working, project planning, literacy and numeracy.
